I’m all caught up with Dungeon Crawler Carl

After racing through Matt Dinniman’s Dungeon Crawler Carl series this year, I finally finished the last book, A Parade of Horribles. (Of course, this was the audiobook version narrated by the inimitable Jeff Hays.) It still remains a fun ride that doesn’t take itself too seriously and throws twist after twist your way. While some books are better than others, even the “worst” book — The Dungeon Anarchist’s Cookbook — keeps you invested in the characters. Now that I am all caught up, I can finally move on to all the other books I’ve been wanting to read! But the ride was good while it lasted and I’ll wait for the next 2 books to be out in a few years’ time.
