I love Poinpy 0 ▲ Laura Michet 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments I have a very strong memory of playing Poinpy, the Netflix version, on my phone in my mother in law's back yard while my niece and nephew, then I think seven and five, sprinted over and demanded to know what I was doing. It's got a childlike cartoon effervescence and I was completely unsurprised that the kids wanted to see it. It looks like this. It's an absolutely fantastic game: Poinpy was one of those Netflix-funded indie games that went onto the mobile Netflix app to die a death of obscurity. I'm probably going to wait ten or fifteen years before I speak with any public specificity about what I think of that, but I will say that it's bullshit Poinpy didn't get the recognition it deserved when it came out. It's the second game from Ojiro Fumoto, who made Downwell - another banger. I played a fuck ton of Poinpy when it came out in 2022. I used the Netflix app only for playing Poinpy, and uninstalled it when I felt like I was done with Poinpy. I no longer have to do this because… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
