It’s gray out today, slightly humid, but thankfully this has been a cooler week than the last. I am not a fan of heat, the sticky kind especially. Unfortunately I live in a world where it’s only going to keep getting hotter, because capitalism, so that’s fun. Fun for all of us, of course, not just me, but ya know. Fun times. I am eating my lunch today in the park across the street from work, because I am solidly in a burnout phase right now, and needed to get out of the building for a few minutes. I am finding myself easily irritated by the people coming in wanting things, which is another burnout sign. I’m sure it’ll pass eventually, but for right now, stabby is my default setting. Currently reading: Dead and Dreaming of Electric Sheep by Paul Tremblay. Tremblay is one of my favorite authors in the genre that I call “what the hell am I reading?” He is endlessly inventive and very good at setting up what you think is going to happen, and then spinning it off into a completely…
