I am deeply bored and I simply can't sleep. So now this site will now have an no-AI statement. Every word on the domain was personally written by me, with my hominin appendages.1 I might occasionally throw a draft into The Machine and have it check if I made flagrant grammatical errors. But that will constitute the maximal extent of its involvement. I am not a strongly anti-AI person. I think there are a few things it's quite useful for.2 But I think it's rude to put LLM-generated text on the internet and claim it's your own (not to mention dishonest). Reading involves an implicit social contract: you took the time to write out your thoughts, and I take the time to read them. But, if you had Claude or ChatGPT do your thinking for you, you didn't put in an ounce of effort, but you're still demanding I give a damn what you have to say.
