I Don’t Think I Can Accept Roblox

I really don’t want to become a stubborn old man. For multiple reasons! First being that I don’t want to become an annoying bummer to be around. Nobody wants to deal with a guy who thinks everything new sucks and everything was better “back in the old days.” Nobody wants to deal with someone who has to make a snarky comment every time they’re confronted with something they don’t already understand. I want to be flexible, adaptable, and always curious about new things. Truly. The other reason is that I feel like that kind of attitude can have really unfortunate domino effects. When you’re certain you’re always in the right, and refuse to see how younger people or newer things can be even better, you risk tilting into some actual conservative views of the world. A belief that your past was always better than your present can lead to knee-jerk desires to turn back society’s clock. That’s not a helpful way to see the world.
