As the clock approached half past one on July 20th, an excavator did what it never expected to do: hit an electricity cable. On that instant, hundreds of houses were haunted with the lack of electricity. Minutes passed, still nothing. Messages were flooding on group chats from different buildings. Communities coming together to understand what had just happened. Fear no more. The grid operator was already on it. Not much later than an hour and a half past the ominous accident, light was born and electricity came rushing back to hundreds of houses. The masses had calmed. The lifts were lifting. The pumps were pumping water. Except at my place. Something else was awaiting me. While everyone else enjoyed the graciousness of electricity, I looked mesmerized at the electric panel.
