Not too long ago, I ran into an idea that is gaining traction in the blog/personal website space called slash pages. Essentially, it is a list of standardized URLs for pages that have certain functions and/or contain specific information about the person or website. The idea behind it is that people will automatically know where to find what information. How well that works certainly depends on how familiar the visitor is with slash pages, so milage will vary. Nonetheless, I thought I’d jump on the bandwagon and create a few of them myself. Most of them I don’t really see a need to bother with, so I won’t, but I did create a few I thought would be interesting and/or helpful. Here are the new pages I just created: /ai – How I use AI. /blogroll – A few of the blogs I’ve subscribed to. /changelog – Where I document changes made to this website. /colophon – The technologies that power this website. /sitemap – A directory of all the pages on this website.
