Released today to coincide with the availability of tickets in “Infinity Vision”1, we have ourselves our first, official proper trailer for Avengers: Doomsday. That sure is RDJ putting on his best vaguely European accent as Doom, who does indeed look great on camera, but there’s something really missing here. We’re checking off the B-Team box, and unlike in the original Avengers or Infinity War or Endgame, there’s a decided lack of thrill in seeing these characters interact…maybe because a lot of them have only existed in an always-connected MCU? The big reveal of the trailer — funny, because his was the first of the teasers last year — is Chris Evans returning as Steve Rogers / Captain America. Do you think he had it in his deal that he got to keep his hair long and his beard grown out?
