Like, Duh

I have been a little quiet on here for a while. The reason is (… does reason have anything to do with it?) I’ve been caught up in painting/decorating. Ugh. We found this lovely paint, no smell, good pigment, friendly to pets and people alike.And this colour, Forest Green, very welcoming, relaxing.Ok, we said, we could with some more of that. We needed to finish off a wall, and touch up the inevitable bits. The first batches we had we bought in 1 litre pouches. There was a little window so you could see the colour.The next lot we went for a 2 litre. This came in a tin, no little window. I was dashing away with the roller on an adjoining wall. The light wasn’t good. But next day….Same colour on the label, but what came out of the tin… Teal? So I got in touch with the company. AI, oh yes. Got nowhere.Eventually I got a real person, and Send me order numbers and batch details. This came back: Having reviewed your orders, I can see that this appears to be a classic batch-to-batch variance…
