The Book of Temples Chapter 24 0 ▲ Keeper of Lore 15 hours ago · Writing · hide · 0 comments Glory and Ruin implanted within the makings of three dragons. Centuries must pass for a dragon’s birth. This is the natural way. For this one moment the Child God decreed the magma pool would hasten. A moment elapsed. Three dragons were born, flying from the caldera. Two sisters there were and one brother too. They circled the volcano. The newborns landed and changing their forms entered the hidden city. Each dragon was struck with unbidden need, compelling desires to hoard. Glory and Ruin had not devised this and knew not whence it had come. They arrived nameless and though newly born, appeared as full grown adults. The Child God declared that their names would be sourced from the hoards they desired. First, Delver of Gems, she sought earth’s bounty, gems to hoard and fashion jewels. Haven of Trinkets, he desired small things, curious objects and art. Last, Wielder of Arms, her desires, martial, sought for weapons and armors. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
