I have yet to get the film developed; but I’m probably at a point where I can send a few rolls of film in for developing in the next couple of weeks. It’s been a while since I’ve felt the anticipation of what the photos will look like. In today’s atmosphere of instant gratification, awaiting the arrival of freshly printed photos from rolls of 35mm film has been lost to the wind. I miss those days of anticipation. I don’t know if anyone has noticed, but in the past several videos, I have applied a film grain to segments of my YouTube episodes where I am a talking head. I let the camera do the speaking when I do the storm and nature beauty shots, but when I’m talking to the camera, I try to give it a slight film grain to keep things interesting. I really like film grain. I am typing this blog entry on my System76 computer, which is fairly modern but has a low res webcam built into its casing. I have been… No comments yet.
