Day 156: Scampering Squirrel

2026-07-12Hello!On a regular park walk in the afternoon, I paid attention to the light and saw this squirrel climbing around above me.Every time I go on a photowalk, it ends up producing images that I would never have expected. I got fewer keepers than I hoped for, but maybe that's just my standards increasing over time.I wanted to go to an unfamiliar area and get some inspiration. Searching for ideas, I find that I get my best inspiration from chance encounters. To get better photographs, I just need to make myself available to those encounters.This isn't too out of the ordinary for me — I've taken a photo of a squirrel before in higher detail — but I chose to publish this anyways because the lighting worked out okay.Next time, I need to wear sunscreen.
