Weekly Notes #15

July 6 - July 19 cold rainy winter is here... Running Still could not keep up with running, mainly I blame the rain, the coldness and early sunset. I did run at the gym and outdoors several times in the past two weeks. Week of 13 July I ran three times. I can see airplanes landing on my way, it lifts up the mood a lot. Always someone there at the viewing spot so never lonely! Reading Listening to Brandon Sanderson's The Well of Ascension, but only during commute. The plot is going super slowly so I don't know how I feel about it. I would continue though, about 18 or so more hours to listen to, might take a while. A really interesting essay on sci-fi and corpo The Looting of Science Fiction Continued reading The Odyssey Emily Wilson translated version. To speed up I listen to it while knitting. About half way there. 读了一些有的没的网文，其中一个是《从长生苟到飞升》。设定是女主可以长生不老，所以她以全人族的利益出发做了很多事，我读到大约过了六十多年女主一开始的伙伴都老了死了，然后女主还是十八岁的状态，突然觉得精神上我好像承受不了。看了剧透后来女主活了几万年，有点超出我的认知了，对于这样的设定一开始我觉得很酷但是还是 too…
