Weekly Update and Links of Interest - Week 28

It's Saturday, July 18 and I'm actually sort of on some kind of roll here and not overly late with with week's update. Imagine that. We received some new this week at work that pretty much backed up everything that we had expected to hear. Not really anything that I can discuss, but it's great news for us and should - in the long term - save us a decent amount of money on licenses and subscriptions. Plus, we'll get the opportunity to learn some new things which is very nice. I need to step up my personal goal of getting deeper into the bowels of learning SQL as well. I have been going through some of the videos from Data With Baraa, having heard really good things about them. They're really, really long and are going to take some time. It's actually on one of my professional development goals to get through at least one of them. I like that it seems to be something that's actually useful.
