ESNG meetings – 12 & 15 July 0 ▲ esngblog 1 hour ago · Life · hide · 0 comments Two meetings to briefly reflect on. 12 July, I wasn’t there, as we went to a family gathering in Dulwich Park. A pleasant afternoon, aided by excellent Jamaican food, a strong breeze, and sitting in the shade next to a bed of Maximilian Sunflowers. I gather that five members turned up, failed to run a train, but talked all afternoon. I call that a result. The 15 July was the ESNG AGM. Nine members turned up for this exciting highlight of the year, but it was improved by our early Wednesday start. We ran a few trains, ate fish and chips, and then had the meeting. Nothing dramatic happened. There was the usual lack of nominations for the committee posts, so the existing old lags will struggle on. We adjusted our meeting times to make them easier to remember, and started thinking about next year’s exhibition, when ESNG will turn 30. How time flies! And thank you Brian. Unusual for Brian to film a Wednesday, but he bravely turned out for the AGM, and even stayed awake (I think.) No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
