Future Drukqs Repress

Our kind of store. Rough Trade Neal’s Yard, October 2001 – one of two Rough Trade stores to get fully taken over by ‘Drukqs’ for release day. The first time Rough Trade did this since 1977, for The Sex Pistols ‘Never Mind The Bollocks’. Warp Records (17th July 2026) Later this year the Aphex Twin double album Drukqs celebrates 25 years since its initial release. Today (17th of July 2026) Warp Records posted a reference to the albums release day on its social media channels with a photograph of Rough Trade shop decked out in Drukqs promotional paraphernalia as well as stacks of the physical record itself. I’d say on the balance of probability that this post by Warp probably marks the first step in a promotional campaign for a physical repress of Drukqs in a few months time. A repress is something many fans have dreamed of for quite a while now as certain physical editions of the album are highly sought after and change hands for exorbitant fees on the second hand market.
