When I first decided that I would review my way through the original 1982-1994 G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero comic book series from Marvel—via Image Comics' giant G.I. Joe, A Real American Hero Compendiums—I figured I would tackle six issues per post. That seemed like a decent-sized chunk of comics, right?After doing four of them though, I came to realize that maybe that is just too many comic per post. Like, I suppose it depends on how much I find of note or interest in each issue and, so far, it seems like a lot. So, starting with this fifth post in the series, I'm going to try doing just three issues per post, and see how that goes. It will definitely make it easier for me to put them together (which means I can post them more frequently) and, I imagine, it will make them easier for you guys to read—although at this point, I suppose most of my readers are used to me going on way, way too long in all my posts.This time, I'll be covering the milestone 25th issue, as well as the…
