I Should've Just Slept In

This morning's plan: Wake up early Hop in my own van (since I fully charged its dead battery yesterday) Run to Rural King and AutoZone and grab some parts to finish the brakes on my brother's car Return home and sign into work by 7:30 What happened instead: Woke up later than I intended (because we stayed at the Posey County Fair too late last night) Discovered that my van battery had died again (probably because I never actually addressed whatever drained it in the first place) Grabbed my quick battery jumper thingy and connected it to the battery terminals Learned that the jumper battery was also too dead to start the van, but still carried enough juice to blare the car alarm for a minute Gave up and drove my wife's van instead Got home and started work at 8:00
