Over the years I’ve heard much talk about the benefits and usefulness of keeping a regular journaling practice. I’ve tried many times myself to start journaling but I’ve never gotten in to really stick as a regular habit.But for a long time I’ve been annoyed at how much thoughts about work stick around in my head long after I’ve left the building and gone home for the day. This is something I’ve been really wanting to remedy. Work-thoughts are for work, once I’m gone I want to spend my mental energy on literally anything else. And so the idea occurred to me that maybe journaling might be a solution to my problem.So over the last few months I’ve been trying my best to journal more often. Using the Everlog on my iPhone I have multiple journals set up for different areas of my life and every time I do something related to one of them I try my best to write down a few words about the thing once I’m done with it for the day.Now it’s still much to early to tell if this is a permanent…
