2026/07/15 Wednesday Had a bunch of leftovers, a bit of broccoli, a bit of peas, two tomatoes, some cheese, and brown rice with carrots... so it was time to mix everything! So to start I minced some garlic, onion, and leek, chopped the raw broccoli and tomatoes, and grated the bits of mozzarella, queijo minas (talked about it in a previous cooking entry), and spicy smoked ricotta I had. Almir Sater playing Tocando em Frente (1992) I browned the onion, leek, and garlic with olive oil (always onion first and garlic last), and then sautéed the broccoli and peas... cooking broccoli in a frying pan like this is great because it stays crunchy.
