“In Gorilla City Part 2” Review of ABSOLUTE FLASH #17

I’ve been reading comics for over 60 years (and yes, I am really that old)…but I don’t know that I have EVER been affected as much as I was at the end of this issue. This ending hit me where I live. No, I’m not going to spoil the ending – only mild spoilers for you today. But if you wanna know a little more? Follow us after the jump! MILD SPOILERS ONLY! The hunt is on for Grodd! The Rogues have been sent on a mission to bring Grodd in…dead or alive! They find out where Grodd is, that’s easy enough. But, it appears (at least at first) that Grodd is controlling everyone on base and sending them after the Rogues! Worse yet, that same force takes over every Rogue except for… Flash and Linda are now dealing with Trickster, who has trapped Grodd and is prepared to end his life, thinking that Grodd is at fault for everything that’s going on.
