Trip report: long weekend in Victoria B.C.

Victoria is like the hanging basket capitol of the world lol — also. check out that adorable little water taxi 🚕 We got tickets to one night of the Phillips Backyard Music Festival, which we took as an excuse to do a long weekend in Victoria B.C., where we’d last been in 2018. On previous trips, we’ve already done Butchart Garden (too formal for our taste) and other major tourist attractions, so this was more of an experience-the-city kind of trip. We mostly picked free activities, with a few paid. (Researching for the trip, I saved enough places to go and things to do that we could seriously live there for a month and stay busy the whole time.)
