All together, this brings me to 11 000 pages read so far this year, a significant increase from last year's 10 000 pages read (in 12 months). Books read by month: the average is steady around 6 per month with a dip in February and March because I lost momentum by trying to power through a few disappointing books. I'm happy with the diversity and overall quality of the books I read: several were duds, but the great ones more than make up for the rest. I don't have a "read N books this year" goal because my brain does not react well to these. Instead, I set myself three qualitative goals: always have an ebook and an audiobook loaded and ready to read no more than half of the books I finish should be written by cis men allow myself to drop books that I don't enjoy, instead of trying to power through them My history with reading I was a hyperlexic kid who started reading early and read three books a week for more… No comments yet.
