Unplugged.I'm really enjoying Linux right now (both KDE and Dank Linux with Niri). It could be just a mood (it usually is), but I've noticed that whenever I'm using the Mac, I just want to switch back. This is new to me. On the other hand, I cannot resist the urge to try every new thing I read about that's macOS only. So, whenever some cool new app is mentioned, it's a simple matter of swapping one cable and pressing a button on the mouse and POOF!, I'm wasting half a day on some new toy that I'll probably only use for a week anyway. I've removed that temptation. The Mac Mini is now powered down, unplugged, and sitting in a corner of my office. What will likely happen is that I'll set it up as a film scanning station, since I'm still not all-in with Linux for that process. Most importantly, I can't reach for it every time I get the urge. OK, I still have the MacBook Air, but that's different. At least that's what I'm saying. It's a satellite machine, not the main desktop. I don't do…
