Put Eric Block (Veloce), Bruce Lamont (Yakuza), Steve Shelley (Sonic Youth) and Douglas McCombs (Tortoise, BASIC) in the same room, and you get Sick Gazelle. The name is weirder than the music — a thoroughly engrossing blend of post-rock, shoegaze, ambient and jazz.
