Non-Functional in the Heat

Temperatures are approaching ridiculous levels here in the greater Oslo area these days. We’re having multiple days in a row with a high above 30°C. When it gets like this my brain starts to lose certain critical functions which means doing any sort of creative work, or anything that requires thinking, is a no-go for most of the day.Thankfully I’m still able to function up until just after noon, so I’m trying to make the best use of that time. I can be trusted to make decisions once it gets to hot. I’m in a bit of a slump as far as making art goes these days, but I’ve been spending quite a few hours working on this here website which has been really rewarding and fun. I’ve made a few small design changes here and there and I’ve added a /explore page that lists all the pages on this website. More to come in the next few days, I suspect.I don’t understand how people living in warmer climates are able to get anything done. Ever.Next week is looking like it’s going to be a bit cooler…
