#73 - From Dublin (via London)

UpdatesI missed a week - we were travelling in the UK and I had no connection. We had an amazing weekend, involving a wedding at Queen Victorias Summer House, a tattoo, a Tracey Emin exhibition, a walk around Arsenals ground - and loads of sunshine and food in between. In the prior week, we went to see the marvellous Glen Hansard in concert at Trinity College in Dublin. It was a fine evening in the sunshine. In between all of this, I was formally laid off from Meta. It is bitter sweet - I knew I was going, and it's time, but of course I am sad. I'll be spending the rest of the summer figuring out what is next. The last time I was in between jobs, I started the newsletter, so I'm hoping something equally interesting comes out of this!Reading. I finished the Future of Truth by Werner Herzog. I really enjoyed this short read on the nature of truth in a post-truth society. I like the idea of truth being less of a North Star and more of a direction of travel that gives our lives meaning.…
