Weekly Notes 28/2026

What's been happeningIt's been another quiet week. Having got our car last week, this week has been take-the-car-everywhere. We've been fully sub-urbanised. The week started with my swimming classes - and of course, I drove over to the swimming center. They have a rather large parking lot and it's nice to be able to leave for swimming just 10 minutes before rather than 45 minutes before to take the bus. Swimming's been going pretty well. I'm still struggling to swim freestyle, especially trying to get my breathing right. While on my back, I'm so much better and more comfortable. Feels good to float on my back and then move your arms back to swim. Hopefully, the freestyle will improve. Over the weekend, Jo had seen a armchair at Salvos and was very keen to get it, so on Monday evening I drove over to Salvos and bought it. It was too big to fit into the car, so I asked for it to be delivered to home.For the days we have to be in the office, generally we take a direct bus to the office.…
