A few examples: The iPod 3G from when I was a kid The Olympus OMD E-M10 MkII mirrorless camera The tiny ThinkPad X40 The Sapphire Nitro+ RX 9060 XT (16 GiB) graphics card I bought last month is now on that list. It is embarrassing the extent to which this has improved my life. I’ve been putting the card through its paces, using it to transcode video, and play my hodgepodge mix of games at 4K/60, and I continue to be shocked at how good it is. This card delivers more frames with less power than my 3070, and with no discernible noise. Reinstalling Fedora 44, the AMD drivers just worked. FreeBSD 15.1 reportedly also supports it, which I need to dual-boot into and try. Even the RGB lighting stays off if you don’t connect its included riser cable.
