Bayer-CFA sensor aliasing 0 ▲ the last word 1 hour ago · Tech · hide · 0 comments It is conventional wisdom that, for a Bayer-CFA sensor with 100% fill factor, you don’t get aliasing with input frequencies band-limited of greater than twice the sensor sampling rate. But in running a simulation, I discovered that that’s not strictly true. The target is a sinusoidally modulated radially symmetric chirp with the modulation frequency increasing the further you get from the origin. The aliasing is anisotropic. No surprise there. Some of that has to do with the way the fill factor works at 100% fill, which in an ideal case is a bit different than the way it works on real sensors. Some of that has to do with the demosaicing method, which in this case was ADHD. The post Bayer-CFA sensor aliasing first appeared on the last word. No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse.
