After a few years of failing to remember to take a roll of infrared film out of the fridge I managed to do it this year. I loaded it up in to my Mamiya 6, slapped on an R72 filter and carried it around with me. I went on a bike ride with a friend to the Annapolis Valley and thought it’s be a great place to get some interesting photos but I managed to overexpose those frames, even at ISO12! I then took the camera with the remaining unexposed frames to a friend’s cabin in the woods where I seemed to do much better with the exposures. I managed to finish the roll in the woods and on the shoreline of the lake and am happy with a few of them. This particular shot really shows the effect of the infrared on full, midsummer leaves and the wood of the cabin.
