Joys

Here are a few moments that have brought me joy and have written down while wandering through the world.The Joys, of:Looking back on the year and seeing how many new things I have done.Seeing people start their day - of realising I, too, am starting my day.A friend pointing out an accessibility feature in the train station — of remembering that moment as I navigate my own environment in a different city. I think of the connections between where I am and where I have been; between places near and far.The barista who knows your name.Hearing live music at the Castle.Spending a day with a friend and introducing them to a city you think of as a second home.Seeing the hills in the evening.Seeing a lotus.Realising how much you appreciate the sky.Watching the rhythm of the world.Noticing the red flowers out the window.Having taken a journey hundreds of times and still being surprised and delighted when a castle comes into view.
