Star Wars Legion: Death Troopers (Anvilrage Miniatures “Enhanced Troopers” 3D Print)

Today’s Imperial models are 3D prints once again. These Death Trooper proxies are known as “Enhanced Troopers” from Anvilrage Studios. I picked up these models from Garfie’s Games on eBay. These The Death Troopers wear really shiny armour that’s pretty much in all black. This presented an interesting proposition to paint. I mean, it would have been fair to get them all done in 30 minutes by slapchopping them and then hitting them with some contrastspeedpaintxpresscolourquickgen, but you all know I never take the sensibly quick option for these things! I used Sonic Sledgehammer’s tutorial as a start and then diverged from there – though I’m sure the glossy armour panels really hide a lot of the work done. It is what it is on that point, I guess! I do have one more squad of these I need to paint in this same black scheme – one of the official FFG sets.
