there is this feeling

i can't quite dig into it. it is just there. it has an intensity, but at the same time it feels very light. it is gentle, yet brave; quiet, yet always reaching. at least, that is what i hear when i listen closely. it keeps saying to me: be more curious. explore more. experience more. expand. she is always asking me to expand her through people, ideas, books, cultures, art, architecture, and every different way of living. she feeds on new perspectives, unfamiliar experiences, and worlds beyond my own. she wants to expand all the way to the edges of the world. and then a little farther.
