Randoming on July 9, 2026 ✍️🪦🎆💸🔌

Random thoughts too long for a Mastodon post, but not long enough for a full-blown post. ✍️ I’m not sure what has gotten into me, but I’ve been writing a lot more on this blog in July. Today’s Randoming post will be my fourth entry this month! In case you missed it, I posted two submissions for the JulyReply blogging event: one on Monday 07-06 regarding AI; the other on Tuesday 07-07 regarding blog titles and “bucket posts” like my weekly updates. I may submit one more entry before July is over, but if it were to happen, don’t expect it until the latter half of the month. 🪦 You’ll have to deal with this Randoming post in the place of my usual weekly review. When this post goes live, I will be driving to Chicago with L. to prepare for my mother’s internment on Friday 07-10. I am rather eager to close this chapter of my life, and to give my mother's soul its final resting place with her mother: the only parent who loved and cared for her. 🎆 My fireworks experiences during America 250…
