Star Wars Legion: Stormtroopers (1st Edition) – But in Red this time. “Crimson Stormtroopers”

Another set of Stormtroopers today, and as the title says and your eyes clearly show, “but in red this time”. “Why would you do that?” you’re probably not asking. Well, I’mma gonna tellya why anyway. It’s pretty simple really. I have two of the original core sets and also some of the newer models. If I paint them all white, it would be a bit boring for me to have SO many duplicated models painted exactly the same, as well as potentially a bit difficult to tell them apart when groups converge. Since there’s toys and merch and stuff out there with different coloured Stormtrooper armour out there in the various parts of SW canon and Legends, I painted a squad in red because I think they look good. These ones are called “Crimson Stormtroopers” and no doubt have a detailed and involved backstory that Disney threw out but will be resurrected in some form by Dave Filoni sometime in the future.
