Tree Fellers Wanted

*Pics: The 21st Century Ents are in town with their big trucks, cherry picker and noisy machines. The local trees are being cropped and managed by the chain saw rules. Harsh but effective. Too old, wobbly and all over the place. Their roots are causing problems. The trees may be removed altogether, I don't know. The Edinburgh Council guys are staying busy. A dangerous and awkward job. Lots of rope tricks. This is day one of two, so far. A lot of material pulped and a lot more light for the nearby houses. What new destruction and space making will tomorrow bring? Not sure but I'm OK with this.*All pics taken at a range of approx 100 Nautical Yards, hence blurry bits.
