But for about the same price right now, especially with the G2 MPCs coming out, you can actually get the original MPC Live. I just got one in the mail. It has a little soft-touch grossness to it, but nothing that affects playability. Add a hard drive off Amazon for under $60, and--for about $350, yer off to the races. There’s something a little clunky about the MPC Key 37. I love creating on it, and I think it’s a great studio tool. But play out live, having the MPC Live MK1 with the battery is a huge deal. The six outputs are a huge deal. And it is 100% Goldilocks zone. It feels super tight. It sounds great. It just has a great feel about it. I had an MPC Live II, and I never used the speaker that much. It was also a little goofy feeling to me, but the balance of this original Live is great. It fits in cases I already own, and I can imagine using it live just sitting on… No comments yet. Log in to reply on the Fediverse. Comments will appear here.
