Hey people! I remember that, back in 2019 or thereabouts, I was listening to Nina Nesbitt a good deal, and a lot of other similar British artists; even shared some of her songs on the blog but have deleted those posts since. I particularly liked her song “The Sun Will Come Up, The Seasons Will Change”, especially as I was going through a bit of a rough time back then so I did need that message. I still really like that song, actually; that has not changed. And recently I’ve been reminded of Nina Nesbitt again and have been listening to her music the last few days, so I thought I may as well share something by her on the blog. And, since I’m a folky Bibiel, I decided on Nina’s cover of Dougie MacLean’s Caledonia. Nina is half-Scottish (the other half of her is Swedish), and very much attached to her Scottish roots, so she’s one of very many Scottish people who have covered this classic, and has quite a personal relationship with it as, just like the lyrical subject of this song and…
