Some really really odd sports

I was chatting to fam the other day about how odd it is that we drive in a car up to the coldest part of a mountain just to stand in queues and ski down hills. I actually enjoy doing this, but there's an element of "what the frig is wrong with us?" that creeps in regularly. It's expensive, environmentally unfriendly, and cold. On the other hand, it can be exhilirating, social and healthy. We then got chatting about some odd sports in the world that have legitimate championship events for, like Hobby Horse Riding, and Air Guitaring. For laughs I thought I'd watch a couple vids, but lo and behold it sent me down an unexpected rabbithole of even more fantastically outrageous events. Honestly with all the crap going on in the world I am genuinely happy for these people enjoying themselves in these weird and wonderful ways.
