I for one truly wish this has been around in my childhood! The British Museum (aided and abetted by Hocus Pocus Studio) have created this fantastic, animated explanation of the Bayeux Tapestry, telling the story from the beginning to (for the Saxons at least) its bitter end. It really brings the tapestry to life and the narration by Claudia Winkelman (an English broadcaster and writer immensely famous in the UK zips through the history with ease (and the occasional knowing wink to the audience).
