Cicada ink!

My wee webshop is live, at cicada-ink.nz. Currently selling fountain pen inks with a few small accessories, and hopefully soon some nice fountain pen ink-friendly paper. At the moment shipping only to NZ and Australia, as I figure people further afield can get the same things much closer to home, with better shipping options. I am finding it a lot of fun! I’ve really enjoyed setting up the website, taking product photos, testing inks, writing up “notes from the study” and sampling and swatching. Working with a friend on the logo, and designing some stickers. On Instagram I’m figuring out how to do reels, looking at making new friends in the community. And in real life, I’m also meeting people who are into the hobby, and have been already sort of adopted by the fountain pen people in Wellington. It’s been breathtakingly lovely, the whole experience. I think what I like the most is that I can do it the way I want to? No one is telling me what I can and can’t do. I can stock inks that I…
