I suppose the title is a line from a poem, but I haven’t been able to figure out which one.The photo is interesting because of its dated feel. As I often mention in these posts, I find it fascinating to see the different functions these postcards served beyond the ones we’re used to: sometimes they illustrated current events, sometimes they were propaganda (especially during the war). And this one? The visual counterpart to romance novels? Something like that, probably.As for the back, as with many postcards, trying to understand the ins and outs of the text is a real mystery.
