Overworld, Wavelengths, and Team Ico

Last month Overworld launched during the beginning of Summer Game Fest and broke in small or big ways almost every single day for seven straight days. This is a good thing! We got more traffic than expected (thank you for sharing the site!), and the amount of news coming in from SGF events overloaded the system on more than one occasion. The idea of launching during Geoff Keighley's Big Week was to push Overworld to its limits immediately. This allowed us to figure out how to fix it for these kinds of edge-cases so the site could perform better on days where there isn't a huge event happening, and then move onto the rest of the roadmap. But a few other things happened last month — attending two weddings, doing a VERY big walk with friends, seeing movies, watching too much Love Island, and enduring a heatwave notwithstanding.
