It’s been quite a rollercoaster over here in Bibielland. So I thought I’d feature a song I’ve been listening to a lot over this past rollercoaster-y month, from an artist who’s relatively new to me. Swedish musician Esther (Esther Lennstrand) is based in Stockholm, and has been making music for quite a few years now, but it’s only last month that she released her debut LP, “Fragmentality”. It’s the kind of album that Bibiel likes best, not just because it’s right up Bibiel Street taste and vibe-wise, but also because I really appreciate albums where the artist themselves is responsible for most aspects of it, as it gives us a good glimpse into what they’re like, and on her album, Esther has been the singer, songwriter, musician and producer, though she had many collaborators as well, notably a string ensemble on several tracks, including this one.
