One of today’s tasks was preparing my quilts for the Festival of Quilts 2026. This involved added a hanging sleeve to each one (I am entering two quilts) attaching a label to the back and then packing them carefully over cardboard rolls, then wrapping them up into a parcel ready for delivery to Bill Bowden Logistics who manage the collection of all the quilts shown at the show. As we now live in the South of England, this year for the first time, the quilts are going to be delivered in person. I will collect the quilts in person too. This means no anxieties about anything getting lost in the post, phew!
