June 2026, Reading Wrap-Up

After announcing my intentions to catch up on my reading through June of 2026, I managed to get a little bit of progress made, but overal my book consumption stayed relativly low. I had hoped to read 1,190 pages (36 per day) and listen to 119 hours of audiobooks (3.6 hours per day). I managed just 216 pages (an average of 6.5 per day) and 44.48 hours (an average of 1.35 per day), a far cry from my targets. I am still hopeful, that I can improve on the amount I manage to read in a given day, but taking it one day at a time seems to be a better option. Life is incredibly busy at the moment, and at the end of each day, I need to be sleeping rather than forcing myself to stay awake to read.
