Today, here are his topics ⤵️ HTML emails Overrated! I’m writing this response with ‘aerc’, a terminal email client that lets me use Vim as the text editor, so my answer couldn’t be anything else. HTML email is really great for scams, spam, phishing, advertising, tracking people’s activity, and breaching security. The context is really important. At work, anything goes. We all use the same email system and I embed screenshots in HTML just like everybody else. That’s a specific case where email just happens to be the delivery mechanism, but we could just as well be using a forum, wiki, or chat application.
