Tiny Talk with Dan Cederholm

I get the impression from your attitude and output that you’re going to make great stuff until you die. But is there a bucket list item you’ve been putting off? I’ll definitely be making stuff! Whether or not it’s great will continue to be arguable 🙂 There are probably a few bucket list items, but the one that keeps poking its head up lately has been writing some fiction. I have this story idea I’d love to explore if I can just carve out the time. It involves a fisherman hooking an old brass key, a wealthy printing press owner that dabbles in car racing in 1920’s Boston, a famous art museum and heist, and the concept of leaving a legacy. Maybe it’ll be a novella. I like constraints and that sounds less daunting. Having written books in the past about design, the idea of writing something that has no guardrails or “correct” path sounds scary and awesome. I also want to be an extra in a Hollywood film someday. Even if just for a 2 seconds in the background. As the saying goes…the…
