1000 Blog Posts

This is my 1,000th blog post! Seems quite a milestone, so today’s post (6 July 2026) will be dedicated to my writing journey. I blog under the domain uncountable.uk. That’s a sprawling, unconnected mess of stuff (for example, my app store floats somewhere there). But the main writing lives under diary.uncountable.uk and thoughts.uncountable.uk. I started making regular diary entries in 2023, although I also recall days from the past. If you’d like to start a blog and don’t know what to blog about, then I’d definitely recommend a diary format. The content writes itself, and people enjoy reading about other people’s lives. The diary format would quickly become confusing though if you suddenly want to write about how everything is less than 0.12. So in 2024 I started a separate space called Uncountable Thoughts which is text only, minimally formatted, and flexible enough to write about whatever I want.
